Student Track

Find out about the new student development track at the conference this year!

Student Track

In an effort for undergraduate students to have a stronger experience and focus at the regional conference the ACUI Region 13 Leadership Team has implemented a new student track for all undergraduate students attending the conference. Instead of having students choose every educational session during all education session blocks as in past years, all students will attend four of the seven education sessions together. These sessions will provide the following learning outcomes while still giving the student attendees the ability to choose some of the educational sessions they will attend.

Learning Outcomes for Student Track

  • Build community across the region (Communication and Collaboration)
  • Interact with peers from other institutions and broaden student’s frame of reference (Self-Management and Appraisal)
  • Be introduced to new and/or different strength based leadership models (Leadership)
  • Experience the world through a different cultural/ethnic/religious identity (Civic Engagement/Responsibility)
