Campus Competitions

Represent your school by submitting your college’s best marketing and design projects to one of our ACUI Region 13 campus competitions! For questions, contact Lane Honda at lane.honda@asu.edu

School Brag

School Brag is the competition for digital submissions of materials used in marketing campaigns! There are two categories – Events Over $3000, and Events Below $3000. To submit an entry to School Brag, download the appropriate PowerPoint presentation, fill in the slides with your school’s entry, and email the completed presentation to Lane Honda at lane.honda@asu.edu – entries will be displayed during the conference!

• Entries Over $3000 – entry form
• Entries Under $3000 – entry form

Rules of School Brag:

• You may add text of your choice, photographs and video. Music is highly recommended as long as you do not violate any copyright rules.
• Do not change the background color or the graphic element (little box with lines)
• The presentation cannot exceed 5 minutes in total time.
• All slides must be set to advance automatically
• Timing of the show starts when the first slide (Title page) advances.
• There is no time limit per slide but if the judges cannot read/comprehend what is on the slide before it changes, point deductions will be made under judging category “Presentation”
• The presentation will be stopped at 5 minutes and any material left on the show will not be judged.
• You are NOT being judged on your PowerPoint skills, just your presentation.

U Did What?

The “U Did What?” competition is for schools to show off non-digital items, such as posters, flyers, T shirts, ornaments, and more! To enter your creative marketing work at this year’s conference, fill out the entry form below and email it to Lane Honda at lane.honda@asu.edu

Entries will be judged on the following factors: the artistic content of the piece (25 pts), and how well it represents the college (25 pts).

Rules and Format:

• Entries must be brought and displayed at the ACUI Region 13 Conference
• All presentations must have a written narrative that explains the item/design/project
• Posters and signs must be glued to a firm backboard. ie foam core, cardboard, heavy poster board
• Tee shirts, outerwear, hats and ornaments should have a photo modeling the item
