School Brag Competition

Do you have a program or event that just ACHES for recognition? Then submit it via electronic format to be judged at the Annual ACUI Region 13 Conference. If your school is a member of ACUI, you may submit a program. You do not have to attend the Regional Conference to participate.

Prizes and Eternal Glory will be bestowed at the closing ceremonies. A school may enter as many times and in as many categories as they wish.

Rules and Format

  • Entries must be submitted in an electronic format. No Posters, Display boards or Sculptures.
  • All presentations must be created in Microsoft Office Powerpoint.
  • All presentations must be 5 minutes in total length or less.
  • All presentations must have a written narrative that explains the program. This must be included in the presentation.
  • Make sure to include as much information about the planning, marketing and implementation of your event.
  • The copyrighted use of any photographs and/or music must have legal, written permission by the owner. ACUI Region 13 is not responsible for any copyright infringements and may disqualify an entry for failure to comply with this rule.

Entries will be judged in the following categories:

  • >10 points: Artistic Content of the presentation (the overall look of the presentation)
  • >10 points: The presentation is clear and understandable in it’s message.
  • >30 points: The program/event highlights the institution/college in its presentation.

You Did WHAT? Competition

“Concerts? Pep Rally’s? Ten thousand people show up for a tail gate party?  Maybe events aren’t your thing. If YOU are the next ACUI Design Star,  submit that T shirt, Poster, or Web design in the “You Did WHAT?” Competition.  All entries must be sent to the ACUI Regional Conference in Fort Collins, Colorado for judging*. Web Designs must be submitted electronically via email to:  Lane.Honda@asu.edu or Chris Hargraves at chargrav@email.arizona.edu

Rules and Format:

  • Entries must be brought and displayed at the ACUI Region 13 Conference.
  • All presentations must have a written narrative that explains the item/design/project.
  • Posters and signs must be glued to a firm backboard. ie foam core, cardboard, heavy poster board.
  • Tee shirts, outerwear, hats and ornaments should have a photo modeling the item.

Entries will be judged in the following categories:

  • 25 points: Artistic Content of the item (the overall look of the presentation)
  • 25 points: The item/design highlights the institution/college
