ACUI Region 13

Welcome to the new ACUI Region 13 website, or at least a skeleton version of it. Please explore what’s here so far using the links at the top of the page or under where it says “Pages” in the sidebar to the right.

I have some nifty things already up and running:

• Most of the content from the old site
• Photo galleries
• The blog (this is a blog post, for example)

Of course, there’s a lot of work still to be done. Here are a few key things:

• We should register a domain name so that people don’t have to type in the clunky URL of the hosting server that the union was good enough to provide (http://elvis.sunion.arizona.edu:8092)
• We need to talk about the format for nomination forms if we still want those to be all online; the issue is that they currently require two letters of recommendation to accompany them, and the contact form plugin I’m using doesn’t support file attachments
• There’s a fair amount of content that needs to be written or updated, such as the leadership team information
• I should meet with you and anyone else who will be making content updates, to show you how it’s done (easy, I promise)
