Region 13 Conference – Call For Programs

The Region 13 fall conference will be held November 4-6, 2010, at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colorado.

The Conference Program Team would like to invite staff and students to submit program proposals for the upcoming conference!  The conference theme is “Unity in the Unions,” with a focus on social justice and diversity.  When considering your proposal, keep in mind the 11 core competencies identified by ACUI for college unions and the student activities profession.

Scholarship Awarded!

This year Region 13 received a number of scholarship from students in our region attending I-Lead this summer.  We are pleased to announce that the $300 Curtis Smout Scholarship was awarded to Andrew Jasumback of The University of Utah!

Andrew says that he hopes to “learn the skills that will make me a better student leader so that I can not only improve upon myself, but also my board, UPC, and all of campus as a student role model for incoming students and other peers”
